The Saturday Cultural Arts Program includes children ages 8 –12. The six-month program is committed to supporting physical, emotional, and spiritual growth for its participants. The goal of the program is to help develop an appreciation for the diversity of art and to help the children become aware of the significance and history of their own unique heritage. Music, drumming, dance, drama, painting, photography, and crafts are used to meet this goal.

The After School Program provides elementary school children with homework tutoring, reading skills diagnosis, and a healthy snack in a friendly and stimulating environment. With a part-time staff of four and over 30 volunteers from area schools, colleges and churches, we are able to offer children one on one homework help and individual attention. Additional features of the program include music, crafts, computer skills development, and woodworking. The program is free to all students in grades 1– 6, and runs from 3:30 – 5:30pm, Monday through Thursday during the school year.

The Summer Day Camp provides a quality educational experience for 50 children from 6 – 12 years old. The focus of the camp is to strengthen reading and math skills and promote library and computer skills development. The program also provides a diversified cultural enrichment experience, including arts and crafts, performing arts, and exposure to new experiences through field trips and other activities. Swimming and other recreational activities are also included.
